Just finished this classic glass rod up. 8'1" 4/5wt 4pc. Casts like a dream with it's full flex silky smooth action. Used a removable butt on this one so it can be used with or without. I built this one without an owner in mind (just to sell) but I may end up keeping it for myself perhaps if it doesn't sell lol

Dave- Yep it's a Ruby blank.

 

Retrocarp- I put it on ebay for $175 but I'd probably do $125 for anyone from FTF.

Beautiful rod there Rat. And honestly thats a steal at the price you're asking for. Custom rods are not cheap by any standard, and thats a beautiful custom.... If i had the loot, I'd buy that for my arsenal.

How long does that take you to build?

That depends on what I'm building. Custom grips and butts add time, multi color wraps, longer butt wraps, inscriptions in reel seat windows, multi piece rod and longer rods etc etc all add time. On average anywhere from 6-12 hour of work not counting curing in the dryer.
