Lucian.Vasies 0 Report post Posted July 11, 2018 Here are my "all day flies". Nothing new, just simple sedge flies but work fantastic for fishing in places with high fishing pressure: cheers Lucian
Edward Snowden 0 Report post Posted July 11, 2018 You tie beautiful flies. If I may ask, how long have you been tying flies? Thanks for showing your work.
Sandan 0 Report post Posted July 11, 2018 Excellent stuff Lucian. The first two look like variations on what I know as a "corn fed caddis" it works great here too. I'm really liking how you use CDC. Number 3 looks like a CDC and elk, another great one. #4 is all CDC yes?

Lucian.Vasies 0 Report post Posted July 12, 2018 Hi guys, Thanks for your kind words @Sandan, the 4th is a fly that I used first time in 2005 in Slovakia, I saw it at a local guide. It is completely made with CDC ( CDC body made of cdc barbs in dubbing loop ) and wing made of 2 cdc feathers. Tail is 2 strands of Krystal flash. I use it as a dry but also as a swimming caddis/wet fly. Works great in both situation . #Edward, my first fly was tied when I had 12years. But constantly from 1989. cheers Lucian
