  8. Don't know what to think of it. Sometimes the flies are over in 4 days and sometimes it takes three weeks and more. I always send them priority via airmail. This time I was late, that's my fault and I apologize for that. I simply can't keep track of all the swaps I participate in and that's frustrating to me too. If you decide to no langer wait and send out the flies you've got, I'm okay with that. If you receive mine later, please keep them. That would be my thank you for hosting the swap. I had my fun participating, that's good enough for me. I don't want to irritate anyone so that would be a compensation for the wait. Sjo :dunno:
  9. The shipping is the problem, my worst one took 17 days to go to the states. The fastest one was over in 4 days. They all go Priority by airmail. The last Swap round Xmas took even longer. It is best if I send the flies out 3 weeks before the due-date. Tying these 15 or so flies can be done rather quick, I need to acquire some stuff, but it's nothing really difficult, so within 2 weeks they can be ready. Ad that tot the three aforementioned weeks and I total 5 weeks, to be sure to get them to you in time. Sjo
  10. Well they really took their time getting there. But then, it was Christmas and that will be the reason it took them so long. Glad you like them!
  11. Count me in, will do a nice small thingy. Sjo
  12. ShmanQ, I sent a wallet from Orvis with some flashy steelheadflies and an extra leader in the back off the sheepskinimitation. If that's what you received than I'm pleased you like them because I have good memories on these flies. I fished them in Salmon River and South Sandy Creek upstate New York in 2002. Haven't been there since, hope to come back in 2007. Next year is our 25th wedding anniversary, which we intend to celebrate in an grand fashion. I got a tin off flies today from Matt Frondorf from Buckeye Baits, signed by the name of ShmanQ. It's a really diverse package, with an epoxyhead streamer, a wooly bugger etcetc and some really tiny glassbeadheads. They are terrific! Gonna visit www.buckeyebaits.20m.com soon to look and see. Thanks for your beautifully tied flies! Sjo
