  2. Sounds like you've put alot of time and money into it. I hope it works out for you. Come payday, I'll probably be intouch to try out some of your material. No disrespect to you about the "easter egg" basket stuff. I am especially appreciative that you are trying to help out our wounded warriors. Having a brother serving in the Marines right now, and god forbid he ever get injured. I am greatful there are people out there willing to help out soldiers who have given their livelyhood to protect what we value so much.
  3. Here's the link they have on YouTube. http://www.1a-fly-fishing.com/ It almost looks like that stuff you put in the bottom of an easter basket, only alot thinner strips.
  4. Take a look at this link, looks pretty interesting and easy to use. Anybody use something similar? http://www.youtube.com/profile?user=NEWFLIES
  5. Do it yourself instructions.
  6. Is the rabbit strip only tied in near the eye of the hook and the rest glued on? I can't tell by the pictures provided. This is a great looking fly and I appreciate the time you took to provide us with the details on how to create it. Thanks again.
  7. I placed an order with and online gift card from J Stockard yesterday. It's already been shipped per the website. I have never had a online store with that quick of a turnaround time. Very impressive! :headbang:
  8. This stuff works great. http://www.cleansweepsupply.com/pages/skugroup19964.html http://www.cleansweepsupply.com/pages/skugroup5720.html
  9. Thanks for the help. I appreciate it.
  10. Can someone list the ingredients for the above mentioned fly? and possibly a like or description on how to tie it?
  11. ridderbos3, Thanks for sending me the information. That will really help. From responses on other boards it seems rubberbands are used in the picture in the link I provided. Thanks again. Any other variations out there that have worked for any of you?
  12. Can anyone point me to instructions for this fly? I guess Larry Tullis created it. Here is a link with a picture: http://www.utahoutdoors.com/pages/fllyfishing_smallmouth.htm Thanks for the help!
  13. My past orders have come relatively quickly. I got a 50% off coupon and made a rather large order in the beginning of May. I still haven't recieved anything yet. Every email I've gotten said they were going to be sent out the next Monday or Friday. I'm about to give up. Hopefully I'll recieve them sometime soon.
  14. If you're "hiring out" for inventorying your materials. Or if your comment in the plastic storage isle is "this is as big as the have?!?!?"
  15. Can someone explain or show me a link to what a spark plug gapping tool is and how'd you would use it to cut triangles? Thanks and sorry for being the village idiot.
  16. Ronn, How did you get the different sizes/designs for the wing burners? I just purchased a few sheets of brass to create my own. Thanks.
  17. I read on a different website about creating your own wing burners from brass sheets. I've got the brass sheets, but I am not sure about sizing for different wings. Can someone point me to a book or website that has "actual" sizes of wings? In the past I purchased Caddis, Mayfly, and Stonefly burners. I wanted to make some myself. I was thinking maybe a hopper wing, damsel wing, or any other patterns that might be useful. Thanks for the help.
  18. http://www.greatmats.com/samples.html Also if you do a search on Google for "free foam flooring samples" there are alot more listed. Good Luck.
  19. You can also order a free sample of about 5-6 large tyvek envelopes from Dupont. Check out this link... http://info.tyvekenvelopes.com/lctr_pg_lit_smpl.php
  20. If you've ordered from the dungeon before, you'll know that his service is usually top notch. Recently it's slipped down a few notches. I placed an order that was supposed to be shipped on the (March) 17th but I haven't heard or seen anything. I've sent the guy 5+ emails with no response and even called him. Has anyone else had less than success with this business lately?
  21. With all due respect to the Dungeon, normally the service is top notch. They were supposed to be sending me an order on March 17th. It's been a month and I still haven't seen anything. I've emailed him a few times and have not recieved a response to any of my inquiries.
  22. www.half.com has them brand new for about 15 bucks, around $2.50 for shipping. That's where I got spinning deer hair and tying bass bugs. Great DVD's, that guy knows his hair.
  23. www.flytyersdungeon.com Quick reliable service. Awesome material for the price.
