Fly tying resolutions

Recommended Posts

Guest

1. Try to tie my contest flies before Dec 30th...had a bit of trouble due to a hurricane this past fall, so maybe I should start tying them now...

2. Try out some new techniques that I observed at fly shows over the past year

That's enough, i might even be able to keep those...

Hello all,

A New Years resolution(s) for tying:

1. ensure i don't overcrowd the head of my flies.

2. get proportioning correct of all types of flies.

3. catch a trout on one of my own hand tied flies and continue

4. to have fun while tieing and fishing (the dream of catching old moby)

Cheers
