Not going to jump in on this one guys but thought you might be interested to hear that there is a great article in the newest Fly Tyer magazine by Vince Wilcox that is full of awesome midge fly pictures.

I'm in!! I could do a Diptera: Chironomidae in 18 - 20. Maybe a Chironomid Suspender or Disco Midge variant.
