Guest Report post Posted February 17, 2004 To catch and release a 20" stream resident trout on a dry fly. I cant seem to get past that 18" mark! To catch a lake run brown trout this fall.
Guest Ladykiller Report post Posted February 17, 2004 No offense ... but that pink run is overrated. I hit the Garden River in 2000 for them and kings .... too many fish actually
Pujic 0 Report post Posted February 17, 2004 Hey guys, I usually try not to get to wrapped up in objectives however things I would like to do this year include: 1) Fishing streamers more often on local resident brown trout waters, in hops on getting more 20+" fish. 2) Nailing another 4+lb brook trout (hopefully on a streamer). 3) Getting out more often - much like everyone else. 4) Catch my first Atlantic. 5) Did I mention, meeting SmallieHunter and BDH? LOL We'll see how it goes. Now back to tying more streamers. Cheers,

Bryanfly15 0 Report post Posted February 17, 2004 Hey fishinlk, if you fish pa streams, let me know. As for my goals: Get back to my 16 day summer trip that will include Montana, Idaho, Wyoming and Yellowstone park. I was fortunate enough to to it 4 yrs. ago (first time out there and loved it). Over the last three summers I had two summers of graduate school and last summer a baby daughter. This year my goal is to get back out there. Great time fly fishing. Did hook a 20 incher cutty and I want to meet him again. Other goal, get my wife back on the waters with me.

Most of all, to be able to get a little better at tying and using my own flies! oh, and at least one muskie, any way possible, even dynamite.... 28 and never caught one...
