uffepuffe 0 Report post Posted November 23, 2006 This topic is ment to be a place where we can keep our fishable realistic patterns. Please try and always include recipe as a minimum and if you can there is always great to have tying instructions and/or step by step photos aswell as where/when/how info on fishing with it. Please keep all coments and discussions about the patterns to it's own topic: "Coments about the fishable realistics" and post only the patterns here. This way we can keep this topic as "clean" as possible making it easy for members to browse through the flies. /Ulf

The Lephtoblebia is very much a still water mayfly, so I would fish this one in lakes and very slow moving parts of streams. When? The Lephtoblebia is one of the first to hatch here in sweden, normally a activly fished nymf pattern can be fished with great results when you see the first adults hatch. This is a time where there will be alot of nymfs moving around under the surface getting ready to swim and the trout just eat away on the nymfs! How? This particular mayfly nymf is a very good swimmer and can be fished very activly

steelie 0 Report post Posted February 19, 2007 Good Day, Uffe, Back to the first post... Have you considered making the head out of thicker foam? I am thinking of a pre-emergent nymph. One that has hit the film but the wing pads have not yet split? Hmmmm... Steelie
