oatka 0 Report post Posted December 20, 2007 hfdhoosier - welcome to the site. that link shows the way to tie them that i just learned a few months ago from our very own Day5! the only thing I was disappointed in with the link, is it appears to be a product that is for sale, yet I found no mention of how much money someone wants for a straw you can get at any fast food place for FREE!!! Great step by step photos, but get a straw at lunch today and you're all set!!! I used a Burger King straw, but it seems a bit fat, so i might try another one next. hfdhoosier 0 Report post Posted December 20, 2007 Yeah, Im sorry for posting an "ad for sale", my intentions were just the principal of tying an egg with a tube with no waste and no trimming. You can make a lot of egg flies in very little time using this method. I use the botom half of a ball point pen to create my small eggs. i bought that tool first when I just got into tying, now am more resourceful and am always looking at everyday products as tying tools. Thanks for the welcome. Dennis :yahoo:
