Flytyer14 0 Report post Posted April 14, 2010 Thought that if anyone wanted to trade one for something. I'll trade anything for it, and if you want cash it would be better to support the tying community than anyone else since i don't have a shop nearby. Thanks -Mark
JohnP 0 Report post Posted April 14, 2010 Our sponsor sells starling skins for about $5. Just sayin...
BigDaddyHub 0 Report post Posted April 14, 2010 get a BB gun and pop one. Skins out in about three minutes...a little borax and a warm dry spot to hang and it's ready tie with in a matter of hours. Skin is paper thin and dries very quickly. After drying it, freeze it a few days to kills any bug nasties that way you won't contaminate your tying materials with parasites

NJFlyMAn 0 Report post Posted April 14, 2010 Yes...the sponsor...but shipping is another 5. I'll pop one when i get home. Got the borax ready! I wouldn't even think about popping one in NJ. The risk of a nosy neighbor that might turn you in isn't worth the trouble you can get from it... I would pay the $5.00 shipping and call it a day... Or like you said, maybe somebody will trade you for something... Good Luck!!! what ever you do...
Flytyer14 0 Report post Posted April 14, 2010 I have friends that live out in the middle of nowhere...they take doves all the time and give me the wings and tails. I'm sure i could get a starling without anyone knowing....And they have a season here in NJ. I'll just have to wear my hunting license.
