eide 0 Report post Posted March 1, 2014 March is starting up with some very small caenis for a swap, so to avoid more stress on the eyes I had to do some doubles in green & blue this morning: now back to the caenis hatch
tctrout 0 Report post Posted March 1, 2014 Here's my version of Lance Egan's Frenchie. I tied this on a jig hook, which will help by allowing the fly to snag less. The addition of the disco bead is something I really like, and it gives this fly a great finished look. Fish For Life 0 Report post Posted March 1, 2014 Still tying up pike flys for this spring. Been having some fun making big 10" flashabou flys mixed with some white buck tail and yellow big-fly fiber. Man do they look good in the water. Also some more big EP flys.
Christopher K 0 Report post Posted March 1, 2014 Bottom one looks great! Here's a very poorly steelhead tie. Did the body in hand, wings in the vise.
