Please include toe tag so we know who tied them. Any kind of egg pattern: glo bug, sucker spawn, anything egg related, etc. Pre-made egg okay. You can post which patterns you'll be tying or keep it a secret. More than one tier tying the same fly is fine. Please post when you are finished or send a private message for shipping address. vicrider 0 Report post Posted May 1, 2014 Yep, need a break from the Big Fatties. Have 5 of those done and over an hour per fly. I used egg flies a lot up north and will come up with a couple. vicrider 0 Report post Posted May 15, 2014 I'm ready for an addy too. Did the angel hair bead and the trimmed blob. The bead fly is deceptive since it doesn't look like much dry but when it gets wet it develops a "slimy" look and the red bead shows thru the hair. I leave a little tail material on but some trim it tight. Fished behind spawning salmon in the Michigan streams we'd nail many huge steelhead, also some coho and kings.
