Been working in the bonsai garden a lot this year. Been four years I've been building it up and it's finally coming together nicely this year. Still some to do but a nice relaxing spot now.

In modern vernacular:

O ..... M ..... G !!!!

In other words:

Your Bonsai Kung Fu is Strong. There is nothing more I can teach you, Sir.

In my words:

Beautiful, Steve. Absolutely beautiful. I am envious.

AND ... I NEED close ups of the TREES !!! Especially that forest !!!

LOL thanks Mike, will do a few closed up for ya. I actually just changed the forest last month. It did have 3 spruce in the back and then a pair of boxwood in the foreground, but I grew tired of the odd species and just changed to all five spruce forest a couple weeks ago. I like it much better that way now.

That does look very inviting. Your work is showing in every part of it. I want one in my yard now.

Dig the Fortress of Solitude, but no backyard is truly complete without a hammock :).

Wow! Proof is in the photo ... they don't bloom if they are %100 healthy. That one is doing beautifully.

Very nice work on that one.

Just went out and snapped a few close up for ya Mike. This is by no means all of them, but some of the ones I am currently working on this year. The Juniper with the Jin is one I just styled last week. I added a few pics at the very end of a before & after of it's first styling.

Exceptional !!!
Superlative !!!

Extraordinary !!!

When you first got into the Bonsai, I was excited for you. You have exceeded the maximum number of trees I ever owned. Your collection is beautiful. I wish you continued success. Have you named any of your trees, yet?

Mike no names for them lol. Not sure how many exactly I have now but I think it's somewhere around 20 different ones give or take. Colin when I go on any trips that are longer than 2-3 days I usually put an automatic timer on the hose and set the sprinkler where it waters the tress for an hour once per day.

Is your address still the same? I have something called a living rock...they only come from one part of Hawaii. I have been meaning to send it to you for several years...stay on me till I do PLEASE. It looks like a piece of lava till you drop in water for a couple of hours...what happens will blow your mind.
