Dull bead heads

Any buddy have any tricks for shinning beads I have a bunch of flies that the beads are dull .the flies are good other than that.

I prefer dull or black beads myself. Them dull beads will still work for ya.

No doubt the Tarnex will make them shine, again, but I would rather keep the smell of that stuff off of my flies. If you use Spirit River Gold beads they are coated with real gold, not polished brass. They will keep their luster far longer than any other bead. I can't help you with the ones already tarnished.

When I was in the military we used Brasso to shine metal things. It should work on bead heads as well. Take care & ...
