Are the 'gills' ostrich - 'pots weave' or how applied?? Oh, and a very nice looking tie ....again! BCT BCT, It is Elk, CDC and wooduck. No Potter's weave on the gills, just partially stripped ostrich herl. Funny that you caught that! That is the interesting part of that tie. Lots of rubber & silicone not showing in the pic with Crystal flash/Flashabou. These are what I toss in Lilly Pad fields and weed matts....the possibilities are up to you & your imagination.
