Bryon Anderson 0 Report post Posted June 23, 2018 testors aztec kit Wow! So many options--I had no idea there were so many versions of the airbrush out there. Very cool.
Bryon Anderson 0 Report post Posted June 23, 2018 Why complicate it, just use the sharpies al dente. Can't really "blend" sharpies. Using the "airbrush" method allows for prettier paint jobs. Just like many of the "display" level flies, looks are for people, not for catching fish. Acutally, I have found that I can achieve some interesting blending effects just by schmearing different colors of marker ink into one another with a fingertip, a small foam brush or a cotton swab. I still want to experiment with some version of an airbrush, though, at some point. You can be much more precise with a tool like that.

mikechell 0 Report post Posted June 23, 2018 Oops ... my mistake, Poopdeck. Seems, from the comments above, you CAN blend sharpies straight from the pen.
