RickZieger 0 Report post Posted August 1, 2019 The flies for warmwater are for bass and panfish. 14 participants in each retreat. You can use patterns that you catch fish on. The director said they need about 2000 flies for all the retreats. Google Reel recover for the mailing address. Rick

The Mad Duck 0 Report post Posted August 1, 2019 @RickZieger...I see an event in September in NC,which is where I am located. Is there a way to donate flies for that specific retreat? i'm assuming that since its in Spruce Pines, it is either a Trout or Smallmouth Bass retreat, correct? RickZieger 0 Report post Posted August 2, 2019 from reel recovery, They will take any flies. List had Adams, PTN. Stimulators, Copper Johns, Elk Hair Caddis. BWO, PMD, Humpies,Prince, Hares Ears, Terrestrials, Hoppers, Streamers, Wooly Buggers, Midges. Poppers were listed, but any warmwater fly would work as most folks don't know about them.
