I read some where that the grizzly looks like the bug moving its wings and i mostly use the regular grizzly. half of this is maybe because all i have is brown grizzly, and a sand color, but i believe half is true. But i voted grizzly.

Look through your local fly shop, some times you find a good deal. Once, i got a good quality cape for 20 bucks which isnt too bad considering some go for 90.

Just wondering what people think of the creation of this wooly with the muddler head. Has anybody actually caught fish on them?

I would use them to frame but not to fish.

I have a piece of 4 pound mono that i crimped that works really well.

I have a house in the adirondacks, and the closest fly shops are in utica and lake placid of which i know there are probally more.

I got a griffen fixed head vise because my other one broke which was also a fixed head, and want to upgrade to a peak vise

That makes want to convert one of the closets in my house to a fly tying studio. Great setup. Where do you store your hooks?
