Tea bags wings

Recommended Posts

Used dryer sheets work well also.

You are absolutely right; I used them before I tried the synthetic tea bag paper.......No more dryer sheets for me!!!!!!! (particularly for the small sizes!)

Do those tea bag wings hold up after they get wet? can you use dry powder on them?

Well, I treat them first (to waterproof them)with an acrylic medium. then I cut to shape.

They float from the get go, but sure.......you could use dry powder if it makes you feel better

I have to ask, are the tea bags used?

The best are from Italy (I got some from my friend Ezio Celeschi (www.ecflytier.it.)

I also use imported Chinese tea.

The rest are useless

Hi Al Beaty,

The G weight of the teabag is perfect for making wings...I tried most of every things....for me the only way.
