Radoslav Kiskinov 0 Report post Posted April 27, 2005 Hi, guys, it's me again the Shark, writing on the keyboard and singing : " too fast, too furious" I am happy to tell you my last exciting trout flyfishing on Zlatna Panega river here in Bulgaria. It was a week ago when me and two friends of me Stafan and Misho decided to try the appetite of the Panega's brown trout. It was early in the morning when we were standing by the river and getting ready for the day. Stefan is spinning fisherman, some of the great I know here in BG, and he first of us went to find a place to put some in-line spinner and crankbaits to a yawning trot mouth. I and Misho were still making our equipment for the flyfishing, when we suddenly heard a voice comming from nearby, as it was from a big big bear: "He-e-e-e-y motherf###rs give me a net, quickly-y-y-y-y." And then we run to the place from where the voice of Stefan was comming and saw him struggling with a big brown trout. Here this is the hero with his game: It was 62 sm beast. But let us get back to flyfishing... I and Misho went downstream to find some place for trying our new flies This is me fishing in Czech stile And here this is Misho fumbling his flybox: I tried a pupa of caddisfly and Misho tried a streamer: Some minutes later I caught my first fish for that day, and I was amazed, because it was a chub. After that we went to find another place, where the trout was hidding, and we found it behind a big tree in the water And the great show began... I tried a dry fly immitation of a mayfly, and it was really tasteful. It was with green antron for boddydubbing and gray CDC feather for wings The fish were not that big, about 26 sm. Misho was always on time, when I shouted : "Where is the cameraman?", he answered: "Who needs to be shooted?" It was real fun when I decided to try my klinkhammer. I let it flow downstream and dive it after some time and when I began to drag him back there came the strike... In the afternoon, Misho and I made our entomology exploration and photographed some insects living in the the carst water, mayflies, caddisflies, shrimps etc: And that was it, the last story of mine, I hope you like it... Take care all of you! Rado

Guest Report post Posted April 29, 2005 You gotta love the last pic. It's like the Mayfly is sizing you up to attack. And the picture quality is great. Which leads me to say don't commit any crimes, your fingerprints are posting on the net. You'll be easy to find. Nice stream you have there and a great report. Thanks for taking us along.
