I'll do that! I have to run to USPS anyway today to send flytyer14 some bobbins for his church group fly tying thing. I have no problem sending anything again cause I do really feel at fault that this swap has been delayed ... I'll send you a PM in the morning with the tracking number

Hey Mark, I have gone through some of my stuff I got at estate sale and I can send you 3 bobbins and a pair of scissors. I wish I had more tools to send. I got an old school whip finisher as well, the older styye if you can use that? I can throw these in the mail to you right now if you like. well I got to run to USPS right now so I will just send them to you! Also THANK YOU for the deer hair! I have received it and it looks GREAT! Also Mark is a good guy and I have sent him stuff in the past and he has sent me stuff so I have full trust he will use them for what he says they are intended for.

I have read ak's production tying cover to cover several times and use all his techniques. When I started tying I wanted to learn soooo many patterns. I only tied a couple of flies per pattern and when I went back say a month later and tried to tie the same one again it would look a little different then what I did before. I learned if I started a new pattern I have not tied before I will do 2 dozen of them. Like Capt Bob LeMay said, I would then pick the best one and save it aside. From there when I want to retie that pattern I have a good example I can look at it and copy it from there

Mr. Vegas replied to patrick carroll's topic in Fly Swaps & Contests
Mine are on the way! Sent Saturday so any day buddy. Also if you look at other swaps foambug has sent flies and they have been recieved, but they were all late -
why don't I do this :wallbash: Does USPS offer tracking? I tied up about 3 dozen flies of each pattern so I have more. I can resend again :wallbash: and put tracking on it and I will PM you the tracking number
