My flies are in the mail. I tied a simple pattern...a "Bleeding Cone Head" streamer. Effective pattern to use in the spring for trout as the ice recedes from the lake shoreline. Also works in warm weather climates too.

Vicrider, I just got them in the mail this morning (Friday). Decided to learn the Cricada Trude pattern for January. This is a Denny Breer pattern that he originally designed while guiding on the Green. it also works for trout on other large rivers. As the name implies, It resembles both a cricket and a cicada, tied with a trude style wing. Tied it on a on a #8 hook. Looking forward to seeing all of the new patterns the rest of the club learned too. -Dorado

Opened my Secret Santa box from Vicrider on Christmas morning and was impressed with the awesome selection of flies. Flies came in a clear double sided box with a fantastic variety of well tied flies. Thanks for the extras flies too.
