  1. Love to join this one if you have me. Don't know what I'll tie yet but it will most likely be big and obnoxious. Just how the bass like 'em.

  5. Wow, this outstanding lot has classics, variants, and new age...from old school to new school. Naturals and synthetics in every color imaginable as well. Nice job everyone and THANKS to Crackleback for hosting! -Dorado
  6. My flies are in the mail. I tied a simple pattern...a "Bleeding Cone Head" streamer. Effective pattern to use in the spring for trout as the ice recedes from the lake shoreline. Also works in warm weather climates too.

  8. I received the January dozen of club flies in the mail today. A very interesting set of patterns. Thanks to all in the club...especially Vicrider for hosting. Look forward to the February batch. -Dorado
  9. Vicrider, I just got them in the mail this morning (Friday). Decided to learn the Cricada Trude pattern for January. This is a Denny Breer pattern that he originally designed while guiding on the Green. it also works for trout on other large rivers. As the name implies, It resembles both a cricket and a cicada, tied with a trude style wing. Tied it on a on a #8 hook. Looking forward to seeing all of the new patterns the rest of the club learned too. -Dorado

  13. Opened my Secret Santa box from Vicrider on Christmas morning and was impressed with the awesome selection of flies. Flies came in a clear double sided box with a fantastic variety of well tied flies. Thanks for the extras flies too. I was also one of the lucky swappers to receive extra tying materials from Santa...Thanks again for hosting the fun swap! -Dorado
