Thanks for replying, they look just like that here in the U.S. I've got a couple of pelts along with some house sparrow pelts and wings. Any ideas for other patterns to use them for?

What part of the starling does that kind of feather come from? Are you using the feathers from the back of the bird or the breast?

Don't worry too much about the eyes, you've got a dead ringer for a bluegill. Nice work - be sure to let us know how it works on the predators. Thanks for the encouraging words, I am hoping to try it this spring when the baby gills get about that size.
