DaUP 0 Report post Posted November 21, 2006 This week we were only supposed to have 3 days of school but now I only have 1/2 of a day Lets just start this little story with the fact that im not a big guy by any means although im 6' i dont weigh more than 130 lbs soaking wet Today at lunch the one girl who sits at my table came in rather upset and crying, she has familly problems and ive spent nights on the phone with her untill 4 a.m. before when she has had problems so i went over and asked her what was wrong and we were talking for a couple of minutes when a guy came up and said a couple of things to her that made her even more upset...so i went up to the guy we exchanged words i turned around to go sit down and he shoved me so i turned around and took a swing at him.. i connected and on his way down i was more than happy to guide my knee into the path of his face... now like i said before im not a very big guy by any means and im normally a quite calm person... but I do have to say I sure did feel great after a long talk with the principal he gave me a 3 day suspension no big deal but i think I learned my lesson.. i need to control my anger... but damn did that feel good

Faster Fish 0 Report post Posted November 21, 2006 You did the right thing. He was the coward that pushed you from the back. As far as I am concerned you did the right thing. I am sure the principle thought that also, but he had rules he has to follow. Way to stick up for the girl.
fly time 0 Report post Posted November 21, 2006 My junior year of highschool, i got kicked out of school compleatly for a fight, I beat a kid that choaked a girl at lunch, she was actually fixen to pass out, and there were several guys just watching, the kid that choaked left in an ambulance, and I was escorted to my car and off of the property bu cops, but he truly deserved it, and the principal told me he could not condone what I had done, but due to the severety of the beating I gave the guy he had to kick me out. That caused me alot of problems getting into another school, and had to start in a new school my senior year, but i still do not regreat what I done, and would do the same thing If I were in that situation again. The girls mother and father actually came to my house to thank me for doing what I had done, and I told em, that it was not necessary, I done what I felt was right. As for the fella on the recieving end of it, he was suspended for 3 days, but spent a little over a week in the ER, and a month in rehab. Dustin. oatka 0 Report post Posted November 21, 2006 About a week ago, in the city near my house, a guy apparently was walking down the street with a woman late a night. A bad street to be in even if you aren't alone. A guy approached them and apparently showed a gun and demanded everything they had. They gave him everything and then the gunman told the guy to get lost.....and the guy did just that. He turned and left the woman alone with the gunman. Unfortunately she was raped. Why the hell he left her, I will never know. It's good to see someone stand up for a woman. All men should, regardless of their relationship.
Chase Creek 0 Report post Posted November 21, 2006 I agree with oatka. I think you did the right thing. Nobody has the right to treat a woman like that. In my younger days I always carried a can of whoop-ass in my back pocket for just such occasions. In my old age, though, I stay true to the saying "the bigger they are, the harder they hit". Redwings1 0 Report post Posted November 21, 2006 I'd like to think I have grown out of my 'scrapping days', but sounds like the guy had it coming. You don't pull that crap with a girl and any time you push someone in the back you are asking to get dropped. Sounds like you have som frr tim now to work on your FTOTY submissions
