I have three favorite scissors

 

One I got from Gander Mtn. It's a Doctor Slick for $6

 

A Quick snip fron Feilds Fabrics, For $7

 

And a really heavy pair from Feilds Fabrics, For $2, This pair will last a lifetime

G'day. I use Birch brand Thread Clipper scissors as they are spring loaded and have a loop that fits nicely on my ring finger. I tie with these scissors in my right hand, it saves having to put them down & pick them up all the time.

I also use Dr. Slicks fine point scissors when I'm tying very small small flies.

I like the serrated edges for cutting hair, but my favorite pair are anvil ice scissors. They've been very good for me.

I have been looking at a pair of scissors for trimming caribou hair for salmon bugs... im not sure what ones to get.

 

But my all time favorite scissors are my anvil 50-a scissors. They are great.

I love a line of sissors call squizzers.

 

You dont have to hold them on you fingers, just squeeze them.
