I updated the list on page one of this thread. I will next attempt a giant water bug. Just because my great nephew caught me one. anymore ideas?

Hey Fred,

Maybe you can be talked into this - http://www.westfly.com/entomology/caddis/october.shtml , Look at the third photo down from the top (the October Caddis Pupa/Adult). When I saw this photo I thought about you and how this guy (October Caddis Pupa) would make for an excellent realistic.

Well Fred, I would love to see you tie a small bat. We see them at night here, usually they are about 3 to 4 inches across, I bet you could even articulate the wings.

A realistic brookie, about 4-5 inches long. PLEEEEAAASSSEEEE. :D

Fishinbub , I wish I could but a fellow tyer is doing some to sell on ebay and I wouldn't feel right

doing one and posting it . I was thinking of doing a speckled trout . It's a saltwater spieces that we fish for along the Gulf coast and they have them on the east coast as well.
