tail...some green with gold thred...it is called reflexa

body peacock

hackle a feather from the neck of Phasianus colchicus tenebrosus ....it is a dark with green reflexes

Just wrapped up resupplying my bunny leeches. Not sure what i am moving onto next - maybe copper johns, maybe parachutes, maybe ants. Gotta see what hits me when i sit down at the vise tonight.

Had a rare Sunday off, the weather was awful, so I did a fair amount of tying, including a dozen March Brown spiders for a swap, along with a few extras for the swapmeister, plus I got all the flies ready to go in the mail for the Bergman swap, and posted photos of the flies under swaps and contests.

Yes, I have high hopes for them. It is a somewhat new pattern tied by Spencer Higa, Higa's SOS. Orvis added it to thier catalog for 2011.

I did a few Red Fox Squirrel Nymphs, wooly worms, and a new streamer pattern I am calling a Grizzly Adams.
