hunthicks 0 Report post Posted November 24, 2004 I'd be willing to be the 10th tyer for this swap. I'm thinking I'd tie the green klinkhammer emerger. Dave
WYKnot 0 Report post Posted November 25, 2004 I tied mine last night, size 16 Paint Brush Emergers....uses a polyester brush "hair" like a quill body, an antron shuck, and topped with a mixed hackle paraloop. Works well in NY when dun/brown midges are coming off the lake. Will ship out on Friday (or next Monday if the lines are too long).

siestafred 0 Report post Posted November 25, 2004 I'm done. I did a slight variation on the Dave Whitlock Red Fox Squirrel Emerger with gold ribbing (size 12 wet fly hook) by adding a wrap of Hungarian partridge soft hackle. It's basically a searching pattern, as it could fish like an emerger, a pupa, a washed-out spinner, an ovipositing caddis, etc. Will mail in the next few days. siestafred 0 Report post Posted November 26, 2004 My flies mailed today. I have a pic I can post if anyone wants a look, but since this is my first swap I'm not sure whether that's a good idea or not.
