Flyman416 0 Report post Posted February 11, 2012 Heres a hopper i created awhile ago. hook: unknown hook i used a random bluegill hook i thing its a size 12-10. Thread: yellow (i used black cause i dont have any yellow thread or any other thread for that matter, yep im poor) Legs: knotted rooster badger hackle Abdomen: syn. yellow dubbing with yellow craft foam wrapped in wire. Under wings: rabbit fur (straight from hide, not dubbing) Wing case: Yellow craft foam, and brown/olive deer hair. Head: Yellow craft foam folded over Neck: syn. That is something I really want to tie. I see a lot of large bass taking those from the surface where I live and do not have a pattern or walk through in any of my books.
