nick2011 0 Report post Posted October 12, 2015 This is my obligatory Halloween fly. I was going for a tarantula type thing. Tied on an 8/0 Predator X (just smashed in a foam block, so you cant see it). The legs are super time consuming. I need to work on perfecting this for display purposes. I've had a lot of interest in it. I am just not happy with the body shape at all. The abdomen needs to be much more pronounced. terribletarantula.jpg that is a really cool tie, would scare the shit out of my wife who is terrified of spiders
Crackaig 0 Report post Posted October 12, 2015 Like that wire spider Scot, I spent ages looking for the right colour to tie an Orange Partridge with a wire body. Eventually found some, right colour right size, so stiff I could hardly bend it around the hook shank! Such is life. Cheers, C.

I am assuming the single hook ones? Craft Fur and Lite-Brite (or ice wing). I have a buddy doing a video tutorial thing on his youtube again for me....tons of people ask about that one. Its very easy.
