Swamp Fly 0 Report post Posted March 2, 2018 Do you know are those ones being genetically bred for tails that long ? Pretty impressive. I expect that is more camera angle rather than a really long tail. Those types of fans in the background are usually chest high on me and I'll bet the end of the tail is about level with it if not above it. Think 50# minnow trophy shot. None the less that's a whole lot of prince nymphs on the hoof as it were.
rstaight 0 Report post Posted March 2, 2018 Looks like Photoshop. Take a look at the ladder next to the one on the right.
Lesg 0 Report post Posted March 2, 2018 You distract the zookeeper and I'll grab a bird and run. We'll split the feathers later.
mikechell 0 Report post Posted March 2, 2018 Nothing wrong with the ladder. Leaning on the pipe, with a black chicken behind it at the bottom. Some of the tail barbs occult it near the top. Nothing special about the peacocks, except they've been well taken care of. We've got a subdivision near me that has a flock of 30 or 40 peafowl. 6 or 7 of them are males. When they're in full plumage ... they look like that. I stand just under 6 feet, and when they display, I look straight at the tops of the feathers.
