  1. I think I will go with a Bird's Stonefly Nymph.
  2. My flies were sent December 30th, hopefully they arrive soon.
  3. That is a nice hopper Dustin, well done My flies were sent December 30th, hopefully they arrive soon.
  4. Received the first set of flies for this swap from Horseshoes, they look great, thanks for the extras!
  5. That was last Thursday, my order was delivered yesterday morning (Monday). I live in Canada and had that delivered to a US Post Office, I might try having it delivered to the house next time and see how long it takes to get through Customs My experience has been great, they will continue to get my service
  6. I'm in! I have been tying enough dry flies lately that this should be a nice change, thanks for hosting Patter TBD
  7. Thanks for adding the SBS, well done
  8. I did my first order from Stockards today, it shipped four hours after I submitted the order, hard to beat that for service.
  9. Very impressive Dustin, nice collection
  10. Well done! I like the use of the snowshoe wing, I was going to tie some of these up using calf tail but will be considering the rabbit.
  11. Nice Ray, very well written and tied
  12. Kevin has been doing very well for his very limited time behind the vise, I might be borrowing out of his fly box this spring
  13. That Funnel Dun looks like a nice fly, good choice. From what I can find, the Thunderhead originated in the Smokey Mountains, very similar to an Adams Wulff which looks like a cross betweent the Adams and a Royal Wulff. I'm not at home but will check my books later to see if it is listed as I have not noticed it before either.
  14. I would like to see a SBS for that one, very nice. Do you fish it dry?
  15. Looking very slim Dave, nice
  16. Looking good Dustin! Bbird that ThunderHead looks like an interesting pattern, thanks.
  17. I have not yet decided but one of Davie's dries are on my short list, he ties some nice flies
  18. Nice ties Big J, looking forward to the trout tearing that up here too. LOL Horseshoes, your cat may have wanted you to have some extra dubbing
  19. I suspect the caddis won't be identical, two similar in one swap should be fine
  20. Houndog

    WOW

That's awesome! Looks like they worked for their efforts, but the reward makes it look very worthwhile
  21. Welcome! Lots of great information here and no shortage of helpful members. Have fun in the swap, they can be addicting
