Dang, I clicked on this thinking it was a legit post. I love fishing for bass.
-
Thanks for letting me know that. The hackle is longer in the front than I am using to seeing for a Woolly Worm. Looks like both are big time fish getters to me.
-
Nice work! I especially like the flies in the second photo. What are they called?

Beautiful fly, and great tutorial, thanks so much. -
I love this pattern too. Excellent job.

Bruce, my eyes nearly popped out of my head. Where did you learn to tie like that? Were you self taught? Unbelievable work. I am amazed at this series you have been posting.

This is incredible work. There are several just posted that just blow my mind. Awesome work..wow.
-
Okay thanks. That is good to know.

Did you put a coating over the floss? Sometimes I do that for protection from fish teeth. Sometimes I don't.
-
Well, if we cannot get decent hackle for a decent price...tie other types of flies, or substitute where possible. I refuse to pay the high prices. Sooner or later the fad will end. Now I read recently they are even putting feather extensions in dog's hair...I guess like a poodle.

Great looking fly. I made a dragonfly or two when I first started tying. It didn't do well for me. Maybe I was using it wrong. Your fly looks great, I really liked it.
-
Those flies are extremely nice. I am gonna have to tie some of these in the future.
-
Try a hopper pattern, small Woolly Bugger...dry flies...anything they might think just fell in and it rings the dinner bell.
-
Very nice work. I love the body work in particular.

Killer JIG...

That looks KILLER.

I like the first and last one the best. Nice job Skip.

I really dug those last two of the first set of photos. Nice work!!

Thanks for the info. I just ordered some white poly yarn off Ebay last night. It wasn't treated though, so I will have to treat it with Water Shed. I appreciate the instructions too. I have never seen those eyes before, and wouldn't you know I don't have any like that. I will see what I have to sub though.

Wes is that poly yarn on the top fly? Also is that bead chain eyes, or pin tops with little balls? I may make some of these today. I don't have poly yarn yet though, but I have ordered some on Ebay. Kelly
