  1. Dang, I clicked on this thinking it was a legit post. I love fishing for bass.
  2. Thanks for letting me know that. The hackle is longer in the front than I am using to seeing for a Woolly Worm. Looks like both are big time fish getters to me.
  3. Nice work! I especially like the flies in the second photo. What are they called?
  4. I love this pattern too. Excellent job.
  5. Bruce, my eyes nearly popped out of my head. Where did you learn to tie like that? Were you self taught? Unbelievable work. I am amazed at this series you have been posting.
  6. This is incredible work. There are several just posted that just blow my mind. Awesome work..wow.
  7. Okay thanks. That is good to know.
  8. Did you put a coating over the floss? Sometimes I do that for protection from fish teeth. Sometimes I don't.
  9. Well, if we cannot get decent hackle for a decent price...tie other types of flies, or substitute where possible. I refuse to pay the high prices. Sooner or later the fad will end. Now I read recently they are even putting feather extensions in dog's hair...I guess like a poodle.
  10. Great looking fly. I made a dragonfly or two when I first started tying. It didn't do well for me. Maybe I was using it wrong. Your fly looks great, I really liked it.
  11. Those flies are extremely nice. I am gonna have to tie some of these in the future.
  12. Try a hopper pattern, small Woolly Bugger...dry flies...anything they might think just fell in and it rings the dinner bell.
  13. Very nice work. I love the body work in particular.
  14. I like the first and last one the best. Nice job Skip.
  15. I really dug those last two of the first set of photos. Nice work!!
  16. Thanks for the info. I just ordered some white poly yarn off Ebay last night. It wasn't treated though, so I will have to treat it with Water Shed. I appreciate the instructions too. I have never seen those eyes before, and wouldn't you know I don't have any like that. I will see what I have to sub though.
  17. Wes is that poly yarn on the top fly? Also is that bead chain eyes, or pin tops with little balls? I may make some of these today. I don't have poly yarn yet though, but I have ordered some on Ebay. Kelly
  18. Fantastic looking poppers. I like the colors.
  19. Fred, that frog is superb. I think it is one of your best for sure!!
