Many people on Ebay buy this stuff on clearance AND/OR with rebates AND/OR pricematch to another store. How I know ---- I'm one of them :devil:. Don't ask me where to find these deals, but there are many deals around. In many cases if you have trouble with the warranty the seller will send you a copy of sales receipt. I did it for someone and that person had no problems with warranty issues and i heard from many others. Regards, David

I know that Google is my freind and I will do my share of serching, but I was wondering if anyone can give me any first hand tips on fishing around Venice Beach FL. I'm going to be there the last week of April. I will have access to the car, but no boat. Can some one point me in the right direction of what flies/gear to bring and what to expect. I have 9' 10wt, 9' 8wt, 9' 6wt, 8'6" 5wt, and 7'6" 3wt (I doubt I will need this one), and spinning gear. I would like to narrow this selection to only 2 rods. I can do either surf or fresh water. Any news on status of the box?

This shouldn’t happen. I never had thread breaking in the middle of spun deer hair during fishing. I mostly use 3/0 on deer hair bugs and 6/0 on my muddlers. Some (not all) of my muddlers take 30-40 fish before deer hair head is gone. Tail/fin are long gone at this point . For some reason I never catch that many fish on Deer Hair poppers to keep these counts :dunno: .

I have no problems with Ebay. I just have one question for you. What are you going to do with 4 Pheasants? Unless you are tying commersially you will NEVER use all 4 of them. You can probably get one good Pheasant from a fly shop and it will last you a loooooooooooong time.
