The color is "gun stock" I expected it to come out a little more brown than it did... I may add another coat not sure yet.

Hung out my with old man today and threw together a tying bench. Turned out pretty good for copying the pattern from some pictures Simon posted. Still have to drill some holes for my tools on the side rails... Just thought I'd share the photo.

Tied these up last night... Gave some flies to one of my guide buddies and I was running low on some essentials.

They remind me of this guy... My best red so far

I have the Allen fly fishing kraken reel and it is friggin sweet for the money... The drag is like silk and the fit and finish on the reel is top notch... I paid just over $200 for it and would have no problems doing it again.
