Hornberg vs Hornberg Special -

yes my file listed the special first and the Hornberg card was stuck to it, my wife is making a spreadsheet so I can keep the patterns on a thumb drive or the pc (she's the brains of the operation 😉)

Heather Lafontaines "Mohawk"

Interesting - never heard of it before that I recall.  Some of his patterns really seem off the wall to me, this one not so much.

Reference

(69) Flyfishing legend Gary Lafontaine fishes his Mohawk dry fly and is tied by his daughter Heather. - YouTube

she ties it starting at the 10 minute mark

either interest is running out or too obscure of a pattern

next challenge fly is.......your favorite confidence fly pattern

Just a busy time of year I think, with fishing weather starting, yard work to do, spring turkey hunts, spring break, high school and college graduations and weddings to plan for, blah - blah - blah.

I would expect interest to wane over the next few months and pick up again later.
