I have an entry a couple of them but one per post right? First is a brassie tied with copper wire as the thread, and peacock herl all from the same eyed tail feather. Just three flues were used. It's on a size 20 Tiemco 2488 hook.

A little UV glue will turn the head into a fine bead.

Here is another one. Only peacock herl and thread this time. Kind of a tellico nymph.

FRED, your a bad man

Bud

Bud , with the prices of some of the feathers you use on your gorgeous creations , I thought you

would enjoy the frugal nature of this endevor.

Not really sure, but I think a 12 light wire hook. I just picked one up from my box of unsorted hooks.

I'll play. I'll tie a pattern, that I just thought up, tomorrow sometime.

I had a couple questions, just to clarify. Are we allowed to color the thread with a marker? Are we allowed to use wire instead of thread? Can we varnish the knot at the end to make it look prettier or are we supposed to just leave it as is?

Thanks,

Orion
