sukhoidave 0 Report post Posted March 19, 2009 I'm hoping to get my flies in on time but I might be a day or two late. I came down kinda sick this week and got behind. The good news is that I managed to tie up a dozen wets tonight. I used some spruce grouse feathers that I got in a trade on the classic forums. They are really nice. All the feathers in these are spruce grouse with a dubbed natural rabbit fur body. I tried for a Euro classic winged wet fly soft hackle style on these. I think they are really buggy which is what I wanted. Have a look...

sukhoidave 0 Report post Posted March 22, 2009 I apologize to all the other swappers. I hate to be in general and I'm the most impatient fly swapper there is so it really bothered me to be late for this swap. They are now all packed up and ready to go in the mail in the morning. I hope you all like the flies. My wet pattern - Spruce Grouse tail: spruce grouse wing covert fibers body: natural gray rabbit fur touch dubbed wing: spruce grouse wing covert fibers hackle: spruce grouse saddle hackle My dry pattern - Gray Wulff tail: moose body hair body: gray rayon floss wing: lavender guinea hen hackle: dun and dark gray
