smalltownfisherman 0 Report post Posted November 19, 2009 Hey guys, I've decided to increase the tier list to 15... hope thats ok! And the due date will be Febuary 20th, 3 months from now... it should be plenty of time to tie 15 flies. Check the first page to see the tier list! creekfishin 0 Report post Posted November 20, 2009 ok ill start practicing i dont like the ones i made so far move in the water . i can only sit still long enough to tie about 5 or 6 at a time anyone else haev that problem ?
professori 0 Report post Posted November 20, 2009 It usually takes me 4 or 5 before I start getting dialed in on any pattern. Tie 4, get up, make a drink, get a sandwich, take a 5 minute walk, any thing for break and then sit down and continue. Pretty hard to tie anything consistently if you only do 5 and leave it, in my opinion.
ChuckingFluff 0 Report post Posted November 20, 2009 You can put me down for a bait fish pattern. basically polar fibres a hook and some 3d eyes, nice simple and effective.

I can only tie 5 or 6 at a time too. I agree with professori, get up and take a five or six minute break, and get back to tying. Your ties will automatically get more and more consistent. Keep trying and you'll get the results you want. ChuckingFluff, can't wait to see those baitfish!
