Kirk Dietrich 0 Report post Posted December 16, 2010 Pat, these are great. I like the vibrant color combinations! I hate to be the one to tell you this but I think you may be slacking a little, you know, just a little sloppy maybe. I noticed in the last picture, there is a deer hair extending approximately a half of millimeter out from the trimmed body. I hope you're not slipping into that apathetic state of tying where you have to say a fly doesn't have to be pretty to catch fish. Great flies! centerx 0 Report post Posted December 23, 2010 Nice Bugs! Just starting to try and teach myself some deer hair methods . So far spinning is OK but stacking is a challenge!
Old Hat 0 Report post Posted December 23, 2010 Wonderful work Pat. Stacking and spinning are a couple techniques I just haven't spent much time at but I am always envious of those that have a handle on it.
