fly tryer 0 Report post Posted March 31, 2011 I have to say, you really dropped the ball on this one, everyone responded within a couple of days of your post and here we are in April almost with not 1 set of flies delivered. I hope you have learned from the experience,if you host another swap I would suggest firstly you cut the number of tyers and second keep people informed of what is going on. Mr. Vegas hosts a swap based on his "participation" in a number of swaps. Mr. Vegas has 12 dozen new stonefly patterns. Opening day is a few weeks away. JohnP 0 Report post Posted April 1, 2011 This swap had a due date of Feb. 28. My flies were marked as arrived on Feb. 7. On March 11, the SM said he was about to mail the flies. On March 20, the SM said they had been mailed. Today is April 1 and to date nobody has received any flies. We will probably hear some more excuses and another assertion that they have been mailed.
