Fresh fish already in. 2 came off opening day (11th) so its just a case of getting out there. A large kelt came off too on Saturday, going by the measurement tables estimates 36lb.

I had recently come back from the West Africa (Bijagos). I was able to catch some fish species I never had before.

Attachments - 2 kinds of snapper and ladyfish. Ladyfish looks like a tiny tarpon; it is extremely strong for its size!

We were also catching jack & barracuda.

Yeah I used to love back in Florida we could use ultralight fly rods to catch them in lake George when they came up the St. John's river! A real blast to catch and they put on one heck of an air show!

I caught a bunch, kept 10. Crappie were small, about 12 inches but I caught three. The rest were various species of Sunfish. Cool weather and cloudy, but wonderfully light winds made for a great day on the St. Johns.

Thanks troutbum11, got the big one on a sz. 10 chironamid trailing behind a bugger, these big fish still LOVE the plentiful midge pupa.

Yes, I remember fishing in Florida with a local guide. His skiff was made out of white well-polished plastic; it was clean enough to perform brain surgery on a deck.
