June 2013 flies from the vice

Kimo That is one good looking fly.

Might have to steal it. LOL

Thanks. I just knocked it off from J.B. with a "slight mod".

Crackaig, the nymphs, I love them. Gonna try these in the 20-22 sizes, look much easier than PTs at that size.

Not quite the same but there is a SbS I did a while back on a reverse tied version here. Might give you a better idea how I tie them.

Cheers,

C.

Had quite a few questions about wings on intruders and people wanted to see them from side on.

While i was fumbling with the goo i did a glassy minnow as there was a bit excess.

That's a great take on a hopper. Love the hair legs. Have you thrown it yet?

Thanks Piker! No, I havent gotten to use it yet, but it should work ok even though it's a little too beefy for a hopper

Finally getting around to posting some pictures on this forum: a couple of nymphs and a no-hackle CDC!

You're not the only one with bass bugs on the brain!

Wanted a light but buoyant caddis pattern so had a play around today and came up with this.

Already it has caught on both river and loch. Called it the Tri Fold Caddis as there are 3 layers of deer hair. Only one bunch but folded over twice.

Cheers,

C.

Kimo, like that experiment a lot. Crackaig, those are really nice nymphs. I already have somewhere around 5000 trout flies, so I have been working on patterns for warmwater, and saltwater. Here are a couple of bend backs, which I hope will turn out to be weedless.
