Older photo lost our lab Shadow in February, he was 13 and grayer. Had to put down the poodle, Willow, Wednesday just before the snow storm she was 17. We usually have 3 and are down to 1, Libby the all American Fish Dog (cleverly disguised as a rat terrier) and she's 16. This is our 3rd generation of 4 legged children and it never gets any easier but can't imagine being without a dog or three.  After the holidays we will be looking at rescues, a lot of times they seem to find us.

My sincere sympathies with your loss of Willow.  No, it doesn't get any easier.

I wish you luck finding (or being found by) a new little four legged child in the New Year.

Lol, no that's one of my wife's pepper plants, that one didn't do too well but she refuses to yank it.

Long night out hunting, I guess. The dirt must retain the heat of the day. Cats are funny.
