heavynets 0 Report post Posted December 21, 2015 I would either make one, as Mike suggested (Amazon has the taps) or make one using 2 of the thin jam nuts placed 3/4" apart and fill between them with epoxy putty. Do this on the threaded part of the stem. Be sure to coat the threads with a release agent like wax or oil before applying the epoxy putty.
josephcsylvia 0 Report post Posted December 21, 2015 Curios why not just put a set screw stop collar in the concrete and save yourself a ton of trouble?

Crackaig 0 Report post Posted December 21, 2015 now for the impossible. finding a nut that is 3/4' thick with that thread pitch. Why do you need a nut that depth? Why not use any nut and make up the size with washers or make a tubular spacer? Cheers, C.
Goduster 0 Report post Posted December 22, 2015 It is indeed a 3/8 32 thread They use that size to be able to enable a better hold of the stem attachment to the base. There are taps that size out there, and you may be able to dril and tap a piece of round or square stock aluminum to do the job you want. I double checked the size, as I do have 2 of them in stock since I am also one of their dealers
