utyer 0 Report post Posted January 5, 2018 Age old question: Which came first, the fish or the egg? In my case, I had a lot of egg yarn left over from tying glow bugs for winter trout fishing. Question was what to do with all of it. I came up with these bait fish patterns. All use the egg yarn, which it turns out gives a nice fat head profile that doesn't flatten out when wet. I save the leftover bits for adding to dubbing. Now to find some more fishing looking colors of Glo-bug Yarn.

mikechell 0 Report post Posted January 5, 2018 Those look good, Utyer. I'm interested to know how they swim. With that much bulk, if there's little weight, they should stay close to the top and create some wake.
