Actually, when I saw it, I thought Kimo did it. Very nice. Now maybe I gotta do some too.

Thanks Gents,

Kimo's fly's and photo's have kilemaka (magic) me thinks, the detail in his work and the sharp depth of field in his photo's speak for themselves.

i say this with respect to all of you folks on this site, some are masters really imo.

now i will try to tie up 3 more (i didn't breath for part of the time during the last one)

:)

Tom's Comprehensive

Hook - Standard dry fly
Thread - Color to approximately match the body
Ribbing - Wire
Body - Dubbing
Legs - Partridge feather fibers
Underwing - Tan antron fibers
Overwing - Partridge feather fibers

Tying Note

This is an excellent caddis emerger and can be tied in green for early summer, tan for late summer, orange for fall and black for winter.

Kimo,

I really enjoy not only your great flies, but your photo skills as well.

Every time you put one up I pause and look closely at it.

Pretty cool.

Mahalo!

Here are 3 Caddis Pupa wets I have been tying lately.  Bodies are constructed with pre-made dubbing ropes.  Hare cheek, poll and a mask mix give the light, medium and dark colors.  Simply  hare mask, gold tinsel and 3 color shades of dun hen hackle.

Cant go wrong with some small crays.  I tie a very similar one but not near as refined as these.  Nice!

Not perfectly perfect, but very nice. No, not "very nice". Very, very nice. You should be proud to display that one. It is beautiful.
