I just went back in time to read old forums about this topic, I couldn't find any reasons why one would be worth carrying so I ask why bother?

You are not wrong, prices have gone up. I started tying my own flies to save money I wonder if the price per fly is still a bargain, Im scared to check. But I wont stop just try to be a better shopper and look for bargains.

Saving money is a great reason. A better one is matching the current bait in the water. I always have a few sharpies with me to color white materials to match that bait.

yes yes It did not eat away the bootie or the breathable material, it dries hard but flexible, one coat might work I used two.

Flex Seal sold at Wal Mart 1 lite 1st coat let dry then a 2nd lite coat, it works!
