  1. watch those water temps. If its getting warm and you have alot of snow melt it will drop the water temps down to much and the fish will be non active. temps should be on the rise if you want to fish. A rise of 2 degrees sometimes will put the fish on the feed. here in eastern pa. the spring creeks are in the mid 30"s from snow melt. The fish are not active. Normal temps should be around 40 - 45.
  2. walmart is carring some of orvis's low end rods, the streamline. the green mtn is not being offered by orvis as far as I know (I work at an orvis store). There are some new things this year but no new lines yet. The green mtn might be a closeout or leftovers from SA. equel to a cortland 333.

On the weekends the owner would drag me to the catskills where I learned from people like Lee Wulff, Art Flick, the Dettes, and harry Darbee. Since then I have tied pretty much none stop. Think about all the organizims that glow in the ocen thats bad. for fresh water they seem to work as long as you dont over do it with the materials. one place you can find glow in the dark stuff is a craft store(a.c.moore, Mcmichaels, etc.)
