vicrider 0 Report post Posted November 7, 2022 I've been waiting years to win the Power Ball or even any of the local or State drawings but then someone told me the other day you have to buy a ticket before you can win. Darn.
niveker 0 Report post Posted November 7, 2022 I found a $100 bill once, I was pretty psyched. That's probably the luckiest I'll get, but I still buy a ticket occasionally.

Poopdeck 0 Report post Posted November 8, 2022 I feel like a winner because I still have the two bucks I didn’t spend yesterday. I think I’ll parlay that into 4 dollars on the next drawing.

I did play a one-armed bandit with a friend of mine at casino once. Invested a $20 bill, ended up with about $45. Friend said, "You're not going to quit with found money, are you?". Darn right. I sipped a free coke while I watched him lose about $100.00. I did throw in a $20 with 3 other couples and they bought scratch offs at a VFW. We each ended up almost a $100 and they wanted to "Reinvest". I said mine goes toward our motel bill. They stuck with it until the table was covered in scratch offs and their re-investment was gone. I picked it up, asked if anybody had been looking for it. They said NO. I got a coke and sat on a bench for awhile until a guy and gal came to the counter frantically looking for the money they'd left. I could have been long gone and it's not I couldn't have used it but I walked up, gave 'em their money, told 'em to have a great time and left. They tried to give some but it was their money and I was happy it found it's way back to them.
